Ladies' coat, size 12 (Castle MK40)

This gorgeous coat is by Loro Piana (Google it to see how eye-wateringly expensive the brand is....), and made me feel classy and elegant for a good 15 years. Sadly, the buttons and buttonholes stand no chance of ever meeting again on me, and it’s time for someone else with a smaller waist to look classy and elegant in it.
However (and there is a big ‘however’), the lining is completely shredded, so you will either need the skills to re-line it yourself, or be prepared to pay someone else to do the job. The Zip Yard on the High Street would charge about £80, and you would need to provide lining fabric, which would probably be another £20 or so, but if you can line it yourself, you would have a lovely coat for very little outlay!
