SSD for Apple mac project (Clevedon BS21)

I am obtaining an old Apple Mac computer, where all the hard drives have been removed. I am looking for a small SATA SSD (i have HDD for storage), anything over 64GB to install Linux OS. (Has anyone done this? Advice appreciated!). Perhaps a drive that's been removed following upgrade? Something local to Clevedon would be great!
