Request: SSD for Apple mac project (Clevedon BS21) 18d - I am obtaining an old Apple Mac computer, where all the hard drives have been removed. I am looking for a small SATA SSD (i have HDD for storage), anything over 64GB to install Linux OS. (Has anyone done this? Advice appreciated!). Perhaps a drive that's been removed following upgrade? Something local to Clevedon would be great! Request: SSD drive for Apple Mac project (Clevedon BS21) Withdrawn 47d - I will be attempting to resurrect an old Apple Mac computer currently with no hard drives as a Linux project. (Anyone done this? Advice appreciated!) I'm looking for a 2.5" SSD drive. I have a spare HDD but SSD will be much faster. Anything over 64gb to attempt install OS. Make/model/capacity not really important, as long as it's fully functional. Perhaps something removed following upgrade? Local to Clevedon would be great. This will require checking/servicing before use to confirm all is safe. History: This bike was left on the corner of my street before winter and i took it in hoping to find the owner. I advertised locally but did not find anyone. Police/council have neither time nor resources to assist. I have no ability to to check for postcode marks or such. I feel that giving it here, then it will at least find some further good use.

Seems as if it could be of use to someone rather than going to the tip!
