1980s Malmo 2-seater couch - DICKSON

Classic/retro/historic verging on vintage. This Malmo 2-seater couch is a unique piece of Australian heritage furniture from the 1980s, which despite its Swedish name was made in Melbourne. Along with Tessa & Parker., Malmo was a major furnishing brand when Canberra was really getting up. This piece is proper joinery & upholstery, none of your stapled assembly here. It's supremely comfortable, and light for moving about although it looks chunky. Cushions & cushion covers are detachable for cleaning. Fabric is sound though slightly faded, but the roses are still gorgeous. I'd offer it on a sales site but I just don't have the time. Suit retro-nostalgic design student? Consider this -- depending on your age, you or even a parent might have started life on a couch like this ❤️ (Those boomers were pretty wild.)Pick up any time, including over Easter.
