1980s Malmo 2-seater couch - DICKSON 29d - Classic/retro/historic verging on vintage. This Malmo 2-seater couch is a unique piece of Australian heritage furniture from the 1980s, which despite its Swedish name was made in Melbourne. Along with Tessa & Parker., Malmo was a major furnishing brand when Canberra was really getting up. This piece is proper joinery & upholstery, none of your stapled assembly here. It's supremely comfortable, and light for moving about although it looks chunky. Cushions & cushion covers are detachable for cleaning. Fabric is sound though slightly faded, but the roses are still gorgeous. I'd offer it on a sales site but I just don't have the time. Suit retro-nostalgic design student? Consider this -- depending on your age, you or even a parent might have started life on a couch like this ❤️ (Those boomers were pretty wild.)Pick up any time, including over Easter.

Galvanised wire lengths - DICKSON Expired 254d - About 20 lengths of heavy galvanised steel wire. Each about 1.35m long, 3.5mm thick. These are straightened-out hangers recovered from a Cyclone fence. See pix. Could be useful in garden.JC in Dickson

Very small qty bricklaying mortar Expired 1y - Are you bricklaying and can spare a quarter bucket of mortar or mortar mix? I need to lay a course of four (only) bricks, which will require about 2 or 3 litres of mortar.I can get a 20kg bag of mix from Bunnings for <$10, but that is way too much, also a round trip of 18km seems wasteful for such a small purchase. Quantity of stiff wire - DICKSON Expired 1y - About 2 dozen lengths of stiff 3mm wire as in photo.Each is about 1m long, zinc(?)-coated, not rusty. I think they might have come from a cyclone fence. Stronger than coathangers, might be useful to hang baskets, netting, shadecloth etc. JC in Dickson

Kärcher hose & trigger assembly Expired 1y - My Kärcher 209 water blaster has developed a bad leak in the trigger assembly. If you have a non-working machine with a good trigger I would really appreciate it. It doesn't matter if the hose is damaged as I can disassemble & recycle mine. It doesn't have to be a 209 as I understand these parts are interchangeable between models. Of course, I wouldn't turn down a complete unit 😏TIA, JC in Dickson

Liners for baby carseat - DICKSON Expired 1y - These padded velvet liners are from a Britax Safe-n-Sound car seat (which has been disposed of).They can be useful to carry as spares on a trip on case the child has a messy accident. JC in Dickson

Maypole (transportable) - DICKSON Expired 1y - This maypole is based on a Hills hoist (so it's a real Aussie job) with a bicycle wheel turret and quad braces at the foot (to be sandbagged) to allow freestanding. Approx 3.3 metres high.Disassembles to fit easily in car boot, even a 2-seater. Longest section is about 150 cm long.No ribbons unfortunately. It was last used at Bush Traditions Gathering at Old Goulburn Brewery about 12 years ago, or Numeralla about the same time, and since then the ribbons got damp in storage and rotted. No sandbags either, sorry. Furthermore, if I can find them in my filing system(!), I will include instructions for several dance sequences. [Even if you have no use for this, but know somebody who might, feel free to put them in touch with me.]I'd prefer it be picked up from Dickson, but it *might* be possible to deliver to Melbourne or possibly Sydney. Electronic components - DICKSON Expired 1y - A variety of resistors, capacitors etc, salvaged from a Farfisa electric organ. They're still on the circuit boards, but a hobbyist could easily unsolder them for reuse.Includes the power supply. There are also keys & pedals from the same unit, can be taken separately or together with the electronics. If nothing else, might be used in a themed sculpture?JC in Dickson

Toyota Varis footwell mats - DICKSON Expired 1y - These are for the front footwells of a Toyota Varis, not sure what years.Driver's side has some wear (see pic - high heels?) but otherwise in good condition. JC in Dickson
