Vintage Valley Canoe Products Surf Shoe (1970s) (Gatebeck LA8)

Vintage Fibreglass Surf Shoe from the 1970s (with more recent Yak neoprene spray deck)
I was active and competitive in this classic of a surf canoe in my youth but sadly its ended up in the garage rafters for many years.
There is still life in the old girl and it is time to pass her on to someone that knows what she is and can enjoy her in her real environment in a safe way.
THIS IS NOT A CANOE FOR BEGINNERS SO PLEASE DONT ASK ( its the equivalent of a vintage sports car to the surf canoe world!!!)
Yes there are more modern surf bats surf skis and sups but if you are already a paddler who understands and can appreciate a true classic I would love to pass her over. This is a piece of history from the roots of surf canoeing- one of the very first pure surf canoes.
Looks pretty watertight to me but will need a new rear air bag as the original has perished ( I have it for a pattern).
I wont be giving this to the first person that asks - you will need to explain how and where you will use it so I know a) you will be safe and b) she finds a knowledgeable appreciative new home!!!
