Free: Fibreglass Canoe / Paddle/Buoyancy Aid / Spray Deck (Gatebeck LA8) Gifted My vintage Phazer Slalom canoe. Been stored in the garage rafters from many years but now needs a new home!! Too good to just skip - it may need some simple fibreglass repairs to get it useable but I have bundled a paddle buoyancy aid and spray deck in so it can be used safely by an adult or a child under suitable supervision in an appropriate safe location. For my peace of mind I wont be giving this to the first person that asks for it - I need to know it will be used safely. Collection from Endmoor nr Kendal. You will need a car with a roof rack or roof bars.

Free: Vintage Valley Canoe Products Surf Shoe (1970s) (Gatebeck LA8) Gifted Vintage Fibreglass Surf Shoe from the 1970s (with more recent Yak neoprene spray deck) I was active and competitive in this classic of a surf canoe in my youth but sadly its ended up in the garage rafters for many years. There is still life in the old girl and it is time to pass her on to someone that knows what she is and can enjoy her in her real environment in a safe way. THIS IS NOT A CANOE FOR BEGINNERS SO PLEASE DONT ASK ( its the equivalent of a vintage sports car to the surf canoe world!!!) Yes there are more modern surf bats surf skis and sups but if you are already a paddler who understands and can appreciate a true classic I would love to pass her over. This is a piece of history from the roots of surf canoeing- one of the very first pure surf canoes. Looks pretty watertight to me but will need a new rear air bag as the original has perished ( I have it for a pattern). I wont be giving this to the first person that asks - you will need to explain how and where you will use it so I know a) you will be safe and b) she finds a knowledgeable appreciative new home!!! A reminder that it is best to back in off the road for ease of loading and better visibility when leaving. Please dig in at the right hand side of the heap and leave the left hand end intact. EDIT on 12th Feb. Just under half of the heap has gone. If you are wanting some now is a good time as the heap had been opened and the good stuff easy to get at. Don't leave it until March as there may not be any!!!!

Free: Epson 4025 colour inkjet printer (Gatebeck LA8) Gifted Working colour office inkjet printer Selection of part used and refillable cartridges included With leads and installation CD. Been stored for a while so heads will need a clean I suspect. Taken out of use as it has the habit of paper jamming during long print runs which is no good to us as it disrupts the office!! Will be of use in domestic low volume setting when jams can be resolved easily. Too good to take to tip!! Generic inks are readily and cheaply available online. Collect from Endmoor/Gatebeck area.

Free: Grundig GNF41821W Dishwasher (Gatebeck LA8) Expired Grundig full size under counter white dishwasher. Approximately 6 years old. Working order but throws an occasional E01error due to a weeping o-rings allowing a leak into the base and triggering the flood prevention system. This can be temporarily sorted by tipping the dishwasher to the back to drain the tray and mop up the small quantity of water that spills out. It will run for a few cycles again before the error reoccurs but a proper fix needs new o-rings to the salt box fitting. Someone with a knowledge of white goods repair will easily sort this. Instruction manual salt funnel and wine glass rack all present and included. Too good just to scrap. Collect Gatebeck.
