I’ve only ever used it to boil water, so it shouldn’t have any coffee or tea aftertastes.
Some light discoloration on the top near the steam vents that showed up in the last few months, but other than that it is like new.
No defects. I’m just replacing with a glass kettle with auto-shutoff.
