If you use a wormery to digest kitchen waste, you'll know that the output is compost and 'worm tea'. The liquid can be diluted 1 part to 10 parts water and used as a natural fertiliser.
I've been remiss and not used the worm tea as often as I should, so I've a couple of watering cans full of the undiluted tea.
Before I pour it down the drain, I thought I'd offer it to anyone who'd like to use this on garden, allotment or house plants - you'll need to bring your own containers. The food waste I used included non-organic fruit and veg (and there were some coffee grounds in there too), so this won't work for you if being 100% organic is important to you, but if this isn't critical, it's still a nutritious mix.
