piecing fabric

I have a small stack of what are basically quilting cottons. They are the cut offs and bits and pieces of a dress makers sewing room who sews historical clothing. These are all prints that would have been typical of the late 19th century. These are not old clothes. They are left from cutting the dresses. There are small pieces and larger pieces of nice quality cotton. There are probably about 10 different prints and would be fun to piece into a nice pillow top or even for doll clothes if you have an American Girl doll to sew for.
They are saved because they are still good bits and pieces.
Otherwise they would be good for doing all of the visible mending of old denim jeans that is so popular among the younger ones who sew.
They are all washed and ironed flat. But you can certainly put them into your own washer, as well.
There is probably enough to piece together a pillow top or do a small cathedral window piece using these.
They are so pretty.
