This is a Kenner, Girder & Panel set: International Airport, introduced in 1977. I hope this helps if someone wants to accept the challenge. Here is the webpage about it and other toys in that series.

I can't provide much info on this toy - there is no box. It appears to be a toy to construct an airport, as there are some paper signs for airports, air control, a small plane, ... There are hundreds of pieces, some of which I made a close up of. To be honest, this is not for the faint of heart - no instructions, no pictures of a finished product, ..., but thought I'd post in case anyone has a similar set and/or has time to figure out how to build something. If interested, let me know when you could come by; I live a mile west of 270 between Dougherty Ferry and Manchester Roads.
