floor lamp with shade (Britannia)

I now have so many lamps, it's time to divest a few. I once repainted the (slightly scratched) gold-look base and pole, and the result was ... less than perfect. Maybe you could do a better job!

It's a tri-light lamp, with bulb, and comes with a shade that attaches to a harp fixture (see pic). There's also an option, if you prefer, for a different shade – it's in one of my other posts.
