Earphones, Earbuds 10031 (Hamilton Heights 10031)

How do. My string and can earphone set up has finally broken. The cans have rusted and the string has unraveled. I now have to carry my old Chromebook on my shoulder like the old time boom boxes just to be able to hear the thing. At night I have to sleep on the speaker or have my cat do Kitty sign language.
So if anyone could help me out with an over-the-ear/in-the-ear/ beside-the-eardrum etc ear buds/headphone I would be tickled purple.
