Free: Empty k-cups (Near the experimental farm) About 35 empty k-cups from my morning cup of jo. I had a coffee advent calendar but also recently started using regular coffee k-cups due to my hip surgery. Can someone use these for hydroponics?...

Free: Office chair (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Free office chair that was used with the desk I posted earlier. It is functional and comfortable. The vinyl ripped on one armrest so I "repaired" it with electrical tape.

Free: Corner desk (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Sturdy corner desk with practical shelving underneath. The top could be refinished or simply covered with a small tablecloth or towel. We used a towel. The slideout shelf for the keyboard is missing. We don't have it and didn't need it. But the wheel tracks are there if this is something you want.

Free: Box of wood pieces (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, These wood pieces were from ikea bed slats that we cut to make shelving. We started but stopped when we found a pre-fab shelving unit that fit the bill for an opening in my daughter's bedroom. Can anyone use these wood pieces? Hope everyone is having a great day. Kerri

Free: Assortment of pump bottles (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, I set aside pump bottles with the intention of reusing them. So far, that has not happened. Does anyone make their own soaps and/or lotions? Or buy in bulk and need smaller bottles? In any case I have a bunch if anyone can use them. Tomorrow is blue box day, but I will hold on to them for the next two weeks in case there is a recipient that will see this in the next two weeks. Free: Ash 3 non-interactive wand (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, This beautiful wand was purchased at Olivander's store in Universal Studios. The wand is not the kind that can "perform" magic tricks at universal. But is fun nonetheless. So much fun that it broke during some enthusiastic play but superglued back together. The break is near the handle and makes this wand "experienced." :) Happy 2025 and wishing peace and health to everyone. K.

Free: Big box of socks (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, This box has socks and socks and more socks. A lot of mismatched socks but there are some pairs in there. I don't know why I kept them. They all went into bags and I dumped all those bags into this box. But not before I laundered all of them. These are all clean mostly unmatched socks. Porch pickup. Free: Big brown Christmas bear (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, This is a big fluffy bear. I launder stuffies regularly and in doing so, the mouth has become unstitched. The red thread is there if you want to stitch it back. Or you could just remove it as it isn't super hard to figure out that there is a mouth on its head. The bear will be on the porch for whomever wants to give it a second life. Have a great day. K.

Free: At the curb: Corner cabinet (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Tomorrow is garbage day. As far as I can tell, the corner cabinet is in good shape. The top half has two glass doors that are in tact. The bottom half has a wooden door, also in tact. I opened all doors. It is at the curb on its side on green valley crescent. It is about 5' tall and maybe 2' or 3' wide.

Free: Lemon balm seeds (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, I will be cutting this lemon balm plant today and drying the leaves for tea. In doing so, I will separate the seed branches for anyone who wants them. It grows easily and gets big in a sunny location. It grows well in shade too but does not get as big. I should enough seeds for 4-5 people. Let me know if you are interested and I will leave bags with your names at the curb. Happy Sunday! Kerri

Free: 3 banana plants (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, I have three banana plants that still have some green on them. I had put them in plastic bags which helped keep them alive through our last week of cold nights. Does anyone want one or all three?.. I can leave them at the end of the driveway foe easy pick up. Free: Banana and sweet pepper plants (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, I am helping my neighbour clean up their garden. Instead of dumping all of their outdoor plants, I am bringing some inside and offering the extras. Here are banana plants that didn't get very big because they were grouped together. Funny thing, when you group banana plants, they make babies! I have separated the main banana plant and each one comes with at least one little plant . They all need to be treated before bringing indoors. Soak 'em and give new soil and sterilized pots. Otherwise, your home will start an entirely new unwelcome ecosystem. Please let me know which and how many you want and I will bring them over to my place for curb side pickup. Thank you for helping me keep these beauties alive. Have a great weekend. K.

Request: Motorhome (Near the experimental farm) Expired Hello friends, I hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous end of summer weather. Speaking of summer, next year, I am hoping to spend a month at the beginning of summer doing a road trip to the East Coast. I plan to camp as I love camping. But I am getting older and not quite as flexible as I used to be. If getting in and out of a tent we're an Olympic event, I would come in dead last. So, I am thinking that maybe I have reached my RV years. Does anyone have one or know of someone that has a working RV that they no longer need? Free: Single bed with 3 drawers under (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, The picture is similar but not exactly like the one we have. Ours is white with wood accents. It is dissembled and really easy to put together. I wish I had taken a photo before taking it apart. The photo attached is as close as I could find to a match. The three drawers are nice and big. The bed has slats and an IKEA foam mattress.

Free: At the curb: patio chairs (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, My neighbours and I have been sharing this bunch of patio chairs for years. Originally, there were eight. Now there are five. They are spread out in front of driveways. Two driveways have one each and another has three of them. We haven't used them in awhile so they are dirty. But still usable. Nothing a good pressure washer or elbow grease can't fix to make them look nice than they do now. You could also paint them, which is what we did. Tomorrow is paper recycling so they will be there until they are picked up. Happy Sunday everyone! K.

Request: Door knob (Near the experimental farm) Expired Hello friends, I hope everyone is staying cool. The rain certainly helped to lower the stifling temperature today. Both of our bedroom doors have door handles with a lock. We don't have the keys. I am hoping to replace those handles with a door knob. Free: Dining set (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Pickup fell through. This set includes a table and matching hutch. The person who took the chairs will return them as they were unable to secure the necessary muscles to move the larger pieces. You will need to bring a trailer and two or three strong people to move it from the dining room. There is a ramp at the front door and the dining room is on the main floor. The set was made in Canada in 1992.

Even a loaner for a month or two would be great. I have my surgical consult for my hip surgery next month. Free: Stinging nettle - 2 small seedlings (Near the experimental farm) Gifted Hello friends, I winter sowed a bunch of stuff. Some of what was sewn has come up but some are volunteers. Like the two little stinging nettle seedlings. I have a small patch of stinging nettle in the corner of my yard. The seeds probably blew over. Does anyone want stinging nettle? Apparently it has medicinal value and makes a good tea. I have yet to try it myself but I have looked into it. Let me know if you want one or both and I will pot up accordingly (one pot or two).
