- This game has the board, question cards, box and instructions. However it is missing some of the original player pieces and game tokens. There are replacement player pieces – cut wooden dowel, and there are replacement tokens – painted washers. Below is an inventory of the parts, what there should be and what’s missing and replaced: There should be 6 playing pieces. There are now 2 original and 8 wooden replacements. 1 card holder – missing There should be 20 tokens. There are now 22 coloured washers as replacements. There should be 1 marker token. There is now 1 coloured washer as a replacement. 396 cards – 2 missing

- Collectors only, please do not ask for this item to actually use. Connects to a light socket with a bulb attaching to the adapter. There is a long cable with a switch at the end so you can switch the light on and off remotely, for example from your bed. This unit is possibly from the 60’s or early 70’s and was principally if you did not have a bedside light. Although the item works please only ask for the switch if you want it as a curio not to actually use day to day.

Tenement bricks (Haymarket EH11)

- We have been doing some building work which involved moving an internal wall. There are a number of bricks available. The tenement is from the 1870s so the bricks are about 150 years old. Please be aware that older bricks are heavier than most modern bricks, they are roughly 4kg each. Let me know if you are interested in taking some of them. There are more bricks available than shown in the photograph.

- A large and heavy padded green armchair. The seat is quite old, I think it was purchased in either the late 1920’s or early 1930’s. It was re-upholstered some years ago but then had little use. Unfortunately the seat area should have had more padding material towards the front edge but is still quite useable. It has the following dimensions. Height to seat 37cm Height to arm rest 58cm Height to top of back rest 89cm Width 90cm Depth 86cm Depth at floor 78cm Please note that it weighs around 45kg so realistically needs two people to move it any distance. I may be able to help deliver this armchair but would prefer if you can collect.

This unit is from 2003, I think it still worked when it was stored away but currently I’ve not tested it beyond switching it on. - This drum of cable does not match the current colour standards for electrical cable. The drum has had some of the cable used. The colours are red, black and un-shielded for earth. Cable size is 2.5mm.

- Large wooden under bed drawers. There is also the wooden guide rails that can be attached to the bed. The drawers are 87cm*87cm (34 inches*34 inches) and 25cm (10 inches) in height. The wheels are 5cm (2 inches) tall giving a total height of 31cm (12 inches). The front panel is 91cm (36 inches) long. Only one drawer is pictured, the other is identical

- Teac Micro Hi-Fi system MC-DX220i A faulty mini HiFi system. It uses flat panel speakers and subwoofer, unfortunately one of the flat panel speakers is missing. The system does not switch on. The subwoofer connects to the mains and has the amplifier for all the speakers. The control unit connects to the subwoofer with a propriety connection cable. Some of the pins in the cables connectors were bent but I have straightened them. One of the photos shows the connectors. The power light on the subwoofer does not switch on. The internal fuses appear ok.

- This is a cordless hand held vacuum cleaner. It recharges on a mount that can be screwed to the wall. Please note that the batteries really need to be replaced or serviced. Currently the cleaner only operates for less than a minute. The cells are NiMH 1.2v per cell. There are 3 cells giving a total of 3.6v. The current batteries are Huanyu NiMH sc1500. Please only ask for this cleaner if you are capable of servicing the battery pack. A couple of the photos should give an idea of what is involved.

- A large green inflatable chair. You either need an air pump or a good set of lungs. The picture of the inflated chair is not the one I’m giving away but a picture of one that looks similar (may even be the same model). I couldn’t be bothered spending two hours pumping the chair up just to take a photograph. The chair was last pumped up about a year ago.

- Stencils and other writing equipment. Please note that some of the stencils have very small lettering, each character is about 1mm high. I’ve never used this equipment but it was for lettering on technical drawings. The specialist writing equipment is required for using the stencils. There are some instructions to give guidance on how the system works.

- Maplin Nickel Cadmium battery charger. This is ONLY for NiCad batteries. Please check your battery types before asking for this item. Has positions for charging 8 batteries of various sizes including AAA, AA, C, D and PP3. It can also charge button cells but I remember they were very unreliable. Has a built in charge test meter. I can possibly deliver this item, especially if its not far from the centre of town or Barnton.
