Light socket remote cable (Cramond EH4)

Collectors only, please do not ask for this item to actually use. Connects to a light socket with a bulb attaching to the adapter. There is a long cable with a switch at the end so you can switch the light on and off remotely, for example from your bed. This unit is possibly from the 60’s or early 70’s and was principally if you did not have a bedside light. Although the item works please only ask for the switch if you want it as a curio not to actually use day to day.

Tenement bricks (Haymarket EH11)

We have been doing some building work which involved moving an internal wall. There are a number of bricks available. The tenement is from the 1870s so the bricks are about 150 years old. Please be aware that older bricks are heavier than most modern bricks, they are roughly 4kg each. Let me know if you are interested in taking some of them. There are more bricks available than shown in the photograph.

Large green armchair (Cramond EH4)

A large and heavy padded green armchair. The seat is quite old, I think it was purchased in either the late 1920’s or early 1930’s. It was re-upholstered some years ago but then had little use. Unfortunately the seat area should have had more padding material towards the front edge but is still quite useable. It has the following dimensions. Height to seat 37cm Height to arm rest 58cm Height to top of back rest 89cm Width 90cm Depth 86cm Depth at floor 78cm Please note that it weighs around 45kg so realistically needs two people to move it any distance. I may be able to help deliver this armchair but would prefer if you can collect.

Large wooden under bed drawers. There is also the wooden guide rails that can be attached to the bed. The drawers are 87cm*87cm (34 inches*34 inches) and 25cm (10 inches) in height. The wheels are 5cm (2 inches) tall giving a total height of 31cm (12 inches). The front panel is 91cm (36 inches) long. Only one drawer is pictured, the other is identical
