Request: 1980's Home computers like Oric, Atmos, Atari,Tandy etc. (Harborne B32) 12d - Hi all, i’m still looking for any of the old (non PC) home computers that came out in the early 1980's that I always wanted but could not afford like the Oric, Atmos, Atari, Tandy,Memotech,Lynx etc. Now retired it helps to keep the old brain box ticking over to have one of these to own and if needed to try and repair for my own enjoyment . I am not bothered if they work or are not complete, (please note these are for me and not for selling on). So if anyone has got one of these or similar gathering dust or any bits or software you were throwing out would you please let me give it a good home. Kind regards and stay safe. Eric Free: Two Small Bottles Of Old Car Radiator Leak Sealer (Harborne B32) 14d - Hi all. As you can see in the photo these are two small bottles of car radiator sealer. As far as I am aware these are unopened and have never been used.but to be honest they have probably been sitting on my garage shelf for 10 years or more so condition unknown. I Have no idea if people still use these items, I suspect they were for use on the old style radiators not the modern ones but I thought I would just check before putting them in the bin. Request: Empty HP 302 or HP 302XL Colour ink jet cartridges (Harborne B32) 14d - Hi all, I was wondering if anybody had any “ Empty “HP 302 or HP 302XL Colour ink jet cartridges lying around that they do not need.that i can refill and use in my printer. They need to be the standard retail ones ,the one’s you would buy in the shops not the Instant Ink one’s supplied direct from HP. Kind Regards and thanks for any help you can give. Eric Free: Non-Working JVC LT-32C785(B) 32" LED Smart TV see details. (Harborne B32) Gifted 18d - Hi all, as the advert says this is a Non-Working JVC LT-32C785(B) 32" LED Smart HD TV with built in DVD player and Wi Fi for Spares Parts Only. This TV originally had led backlight failure so no picture but everything else seemed to be working ok. Unfortunately while I was dismantling it to fix the backlights I stupidly pulled loose one of the screen flexible edge connectors from its circuit board ( see photo ) which after checking on the internet would seem to be unrepairable so now only usable for spare parts. It comes with its Remote control and its original box which has on its side what the TV’s spec was. Hopefully someone can use the parts from it. Kind regard Eric.

Free: Philips Desktop PC with keyboard, mouse & Monitor. Needs TLC (Harborne B32) Gifted 24d - Hi all, as you can see in the photos this is a Philips Core 2 Quad desktop tower pc that I was running for some years before putting it on the shelf and using a lap top instead. You can get the full spec on the net but it comes with 4 GB of memory and an NVidia graphics card. When last used it was running Windows 10 but as the hard drive was starting to fail so it was removed so you will need to fit another one. Also the internal DVD drive seemed to be playing up and you will need to fit a new button cell battery on the motherboard to retain the date and time information. It has a Wi-Fi card installed but at some point I have lost the aerial (as you can see I did try a piece of wire with limited success). The graphics card outputs on two old style HD sockets so it comes with a converter plug to standard VGA out. It comes with an old VGA AL1912 Acer LCD monitor, USB keyboard and a ps2 mouse. Free: Old OLYMPUS FE-210 7.1 Megapixel Digital Compact Camera (Harborne B32) Gifted 47d - Hi all, as the advert says this is an old OLYMPUS FE-210 7.1 megapixel Digital Compact Camera which as far as I am aware is in full working order with a one Gigabit XD memory card installed. It comes in its original box complete with its basic instruction manual, software and two leads. Please note it does need two AA batteries to work. Kind regards Eric

Free: Faulty HP Photosmart 6510 Four in One Wi-Fi printer (Harborne B32) Gifted 68d - Hi all, this is a faulty HP Four in One Wi-Fi printer that was given to me recently, unfortunately it keeps insisting that there is no paper in the input tray ( when there is ) or it will just not feed the paper into the printer. I have cleaned the rollers but to no effect and it still does not work. On the one occasion when I did manage to get it going I was able to copy a toy logo which printed ok ( see photo ) so it would seem there is no problem with the ink printing side. I wondered if anyone wants to have a crack at getting it to work before its scraped. Kind regards Eric.

Request: Empty HP 364 black or colour inkjet printer cartridges (Harborne B32) Withdrawn 75d - Hi all, I was wondering if anybody had any “ Empty “ HP 364 inkjet cartridges lying around that they do not need. I have been given a very nice HP printer which needs ink cartridges and as i always like to try to recycle things if i can, i would be grateful if anybody has some empty ones that I could have to refill. Eric Free: Manhattan Plaza DS.100 Freesat SD Receiver see details (Harborne B32) Gifted 121d - Hi all,As the advert says this is a Standard definition freesat receiver which was given to me. Unfortunately although I was told it was working i am unable to confirm it as my dish is not working at the moment. I have connected it to my TV and it does turn on and then using the remote control you can get the usual menu’s show on screen but of course as you would expect no channels showing. So it does look as though it is ok but please note this is a Standard Definition receiver only so it looks like you will not be able to receive BBC channels next year. Free: Canon PIXMA MG2550S All-in-One Printer (Not Wireless) (Harborne B32) Gifted 137d - Hi all, this as the advert says is a working Canon PIXMA MG 2550S All-In-one Printer. I don’t know too much about this printer as it has been passed onto me by a relative. As you can see from the photos I have tried scanning and printing out using the black and colour inks with what looks like ok results. Please note this is “NOT” a Wi-Fi printer, you have to connect it to your pc via a usb lead which comes with the printer. It would appear that all of the software and drivers can be downloaded from the Canon site. Polite replies only and please no phone number . As usual I will wait 24 hrs before offering it to anybody. Free: Extractor Fan see photos & Details (Harborne B32) Gifted 140d - Hi all, this extractor fan was given to me some years ago as a nearly new spare, at the time I was told it was in working order but never tried it so cannot really say what its condition is so it may be just for parts. Free: Kinzo Hand Electric Wood planer see details & photos (Harborne B32) Gifted 157d - Hi all, this is an old Kinzo Hand Electric Wood Planer that I used years ago but has just been on the shelf in my garage for the last few years. From memory when I last used it it worked ok but I suspect the blades could do with sharpening ( if you can ) or replacing. I haven’t tried to use it but it does turn on and the blade seems to spin. Free: Ferm 12v Drill / Screwdriver working - see details (Harborne B32) Gifted 158d - Hi all, as you can see in the photos this is a working Ferm 12v Drill / Screwdriver. I have not used the drill very often but I have charged up the battery and it seem to be holding the charge ok unfortunately the plastic hinge on the case has broken so I have had to repair it with tape. (Harborne B32) Gifted 158d - Hi all, this is a nice looking but faulty Pure Evoke DAB radio unfortunately when you press the button to turn it on it doesn't always switch on. Repeatedly pressing the on button does make it work eventually and then it's fine until you turn it off. You will need to get a new 12v plug in power supply as its original is no longer working ( I have been using one off of my portable TV ).Kind Regards Eric

Free: Small Wooden Bottle Rack (Harborne B32) Gifted 158d - Hi all, as you can see in the photo this is a small (43cms wide x 33cms high x 18cms deep) wooden bottle rack. We got this years ago, found it would not fit where we wanted to put it so it just ended up unused on a garage shelf. Free: Various Shelf Brackets see photo (Harborne B32) Gifted 158d - Hi all, these are various shelf brackets that have accumulated on my garage shelves over the years so could probably do with a wipe over. The top four and one odd one in the photo are the kind where you screw the back piece to the wall and then the other part slides down into it which hides the screws. Request: Wall mounting bracket for Sky satellite dish see photo's (Harborne B32) Received 166d - Hi all. I was wondering if anybody had an old sky satellite dish wall mounting bracket lying around and no longer required ( the same as the ones in the photos) thai i could have so that I can finally install the dish that I was given last year permanently on the wall (and stop it moving in the wind.) Free: Old Epson R240 Stylus Photo Printer please see details. (Harborne B32) Gifted 166d - Hi all, this is an old Epson photo printer that I have had for probably over 13 years that I used to print out black and white and colour photos. I have not used it for some years but the last time I used it the yellow ink cartridge ran out. I have just turned the printer on and as you can see in the photo the display shows that indeed the yellow cartridge is empty, Unfortunately I have no spare yellow cartridges so I cannot test the printer out to see if it still works ok but it was working perfectly when last used some years ago before the cartridge ran dry. It comes with 5 unopened black spare cartridges. Please note, this is not a Wi-Fi printer it comes with a USB connecting cable but no software or instructions. Free: Old Epson R265 Stylus Photo / DVD Printer please see details (Harborne B32) Gifted 171d - Hi all, this is an old Epson printer that I have had for probably over 13 years that I have used to print out photos and also images on the face of printable CD / DVD disc’s. I have not used it for some years but I have just tried it out and it seemed to print out the test page ok. Unfortunately I no longer have all the software installed so cannot check out the ink levels but the ink light on the front is not showing. It comes with the DVD printing tray attachment and two spare cartridges ( 1 black and 1 yellow ). Please note, this is not a Wi-Fi printer it comes with a USB connecting cable but no software or instructions. Free: Faulty / Working HP 4620 Wireless Printer see detatails (Harborne B32) Gifted 177d - Hi all, as the advert says this is an HP 4620 Wireless Print/ Fax/ Scan/ Copy Printer which I have been using for about the last 5 ½ years but which I have now replaced due to its problems. See below:- 1/. As you can see in the one photo it no longer prints Magenta (well not much) even though the cartridge is full (I refilled it myself). I assume that the print head has got blocked but do not know for sure. All of the other colours seem to print ok. 2/. When I moved the printer from where it has sat for 5 ½ years a load of waste ink poured out of the bottom so I assume that the waste ink pad was full. It seems to have almost stopped now but you would need to check it out for yourself. It comes with a full set of new ink cartridges plus an additional black one. Free: Dyson DC 07 Vacuum Cleaner (Harborne B32) Gifted 205d - Hi all, this is a nice looking Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner. It used to be our main vacuum cleaner but it has not been used for a while so I have no idea how good the filters are etc. As far as I know it was fully working when it was put away but I have just tried it out and it seems to run ok. Free: Hard backed book “Sharpe’s Fury” by Bernard Cornwell. (Harborne B32) Expired 206d - Hi all, this hard backed book is “Sharpe’s Fury” by Bernard Cornwell, i bought it years ago as a Discard from a Birmingham library. It's not worth coming any great distancs but it’s in very good condition and if you like the Sharpe series it's an excellent read. Free: Mains Rechargeable emergency fluorescent light see details (Harborne B32) Gifted 239d - Hi all, this is what I think is called a Mains Rechargeable Emergency wall mounted fluorescent light, the sort that comes on if the power fails. I bought this from a car boot sale years ago intending to have it installed in my garage but it was just left on the garage shelf instead. Not sure if the battery in it is still ok but the light itself looks to be in clean condition. Please note you will need a qualified electrician to install this for you. Kind Regards Eric

Free: Old Small FM Wireless Transmitter see details & photo's (Harborne B32) Gifted 239d - Hi all, back in the day before cars had CD / MP3 players installed this is an old FM Wireless Transmitter that we used to use in our cars plugged into our portable CD players / MP3 players so you could play music etc. over the car radio ( you have to tune the radio to receive the transmitted signal ). This one has not been used for quite a few years but it was working fine when last used. I have tried a couple of AAA batteries in it and it does light up but I have not tried to tune it, also the case has yellowed over time. Not worth a lot but I thought I would just check if anybody local wanted it before throwing it away. Kind regards Eric

(Harborne B32) Gifted 239d - Hi all, as you can see in the photo this is an old small Note Book Cooler stand aprox 27cm x 27.5cm which shows a blue light when its plugged into a usb port. Free: Very Old ( 2001 ? ) Microtek FilmScan35 Scanner see details (Harborne B32) Gifted 239d - Hi all, as you can see from the photo’s this is a small very old ( around 2001 I think Win 95/98/XP) 35mm film and slide scanner which I bought second hand years ago and was never able to get to work or find any suitable drivers for. So it has just sat on a shelf in my workroom gathering dust. As i am now having a clear out, I thought before I scrap it I would just see if anyone wants it? I have no idea if it still works, I have plugged it in to a spare psu and the front light does come on. It does not come with any power supply but it does have a usb cable. kind Regards Eric

Free: Guillotine and Rotary trimmer with a couple of faults. (Harborne B32) Gifted 240d - Hi all, as the advert says this is a Guillotine and Rotary trimmer but with a couple of faults. The aluminium hold down arm is missing a nut and I suspect a spring so it is loose, it has been like it since it was given to me years ago and I have just never got around to trying to fix it. The hold down arm on the rotary trimmer does not seem to lock down any more so it may need attention?
