I’m looking for information regarding a very old and large bible that has been in our possession for many years. I would like to know if there is an organization in Ottawa that would like to add it to their library. The mystery of the Family Bible has been partially solved. It appears that the Bible was printed in Boston in the 1860’s. Its travels seem to have gone through New Glasgow, Dartmouth, New Minas, Peterborough, Trenton to end up in Ottawa. The name on the Bible is “ Pronouncing Parallel Bible, The Old And New Versions Parallel Columns“ and it contains pictures and information about the Bibles language and weighs over twenty pounds. It has been decided with some discussion with local family members that it will remain in my possession and passed on to my heirs. It is too bad that my late wife wasn’t here to help with this mystery of the Bible that we carried around for many years and moves.

I am putting this offer out again with hopes that it will be of interest to someone. If there is no interest, then it will probably be put out for the weekly trash pick up. Child size bed with mattress, Walkley and McCarthy area. Pickup only and I am available most anytime. I made this bed for my great grandson when he was old enough to leave his crib. I made it to fit the cribs mattress and he used it from two till almost five. It has been used for several great grandchildren for overnight visits. Address available to the successful requester.
