partly working Sewing Machine (Alverstoke PO12)
This was a very nice machine 25 years ago. I spent a lot of money 3 years ago trying to get it to work exactly as I would like. It tends to do a side stitch every so often in a straight run, sometimes it stops and won't go without turning on and off, it hates variable thicknesses, the spool does not wind evenly. If despite theses faults, you feel that this machine would make life better for you then please tell me your story. Note the location in the south

These are Sanderson and much nicer than they look at first although some age staining. The heavy insulated linings have been removed. Ideal for makeover. The drop is 90" (229cm) and the width is 108" (274cm) made up from two standard 54" width lengths.
