Free: Hello Fresh packing material (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) I had seen a request for Hello Fresh packing material on TrashNothing a few days ago, but it has already expired. We just received a HF shipment and all of the packing material is available - box and freezer packing. I've added a photo for those who are unfamiliar with Hello Fresh food shipments. The box is lined with paper insulation and includes a freezable gel pack to keep the contents cold.

Free: Reflective Highway Signs (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Set of 3 Reflective Highway Signs including plastic storage box. To set them up, you just unfold two of the edges to create a reflective red triangle. The base of each sign is heavily weighted so that it shouldn't move in bad weather. The 3 signs can be collapsed and stored in the box. Note that the box hinges are broken - I used a bungee cord to keep the lid on. Free: Cable Ties (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Four multi-color cable ties. These are rubber-coated wires that you can twist around a cable (USB-A, Lightning, USB-C, HDMI, Ethernet, etc) to keep it neatly coiled, e.g., for travel. Each cable tie is about 6 inches long and has a loop at one end through which you can optionally insert one end of your cable. Free: Corded Grass Trimmer (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Expired Paramount brand Corded Grass Trimmer, model 5503-01, by Allegretti & Company. Double insulated. Includes the original Owners Manual, a partially used spool of nylon trimming line, and the wrench used to replace the spool. I have cleaned up this trimmer but I'm not able to get it to power up. Free: Folding Step Stool (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Cosco folding step stool with 2 steps. Folds flat for storage. Steel construction with plastic leg tips. Second step is about 17 inches above the floor. Overall dimensions (when folded) are about 37L x 17W x 5D. Free: Brother All-In-One Laser Printer (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Brother MFC-8890DW All-In-One Laser Printer (monochrome, not color). Compatible with MacOS and Windows. Prints double-sided, and copies, scans, and faxes double-sided from a 50-page Auto Document Feeder. Legal-size document glass for scanning. 250-sheet paper tray adjustable for letter or legal size paper. Connectivity options include Ethernet, WiFi (11b/g), and USB. This AOI printer is fairly heavy (41 Lbs) and awkward to carry, but one strong person can manage it. I have the full printer documentation in PDF format (no hard copy) that I can email. The Drum Unit finally reached its End of Life recently (25K+ pages) so I installed a 3rd-party Drum Unit. The printer now produces pages that have a slight but noticeable gray background. The 3rd-party Toner Cartridge is still about 50% full. I’ve done the usual debugging but haven’t been able to resolve this, so I’m ready to move on. I’ll include an additional brand-new Drum Unit. Free: Vintage Apple Powerbook (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Offering a vintage Apple Powerbook, the much-loved "TiBook", model A1025, Late 2002. Includes a Targus laptop bag, all original cables and user guides, and most importantly, the original Install and Restore DVD. The laptop has a few dings and faded sections on the LCD display, but all pixels seem to be operating. Please note that this is NOT a functional laptop as it stands. I removed the 60GB hard disk as the Powerbook would not boot from it and it wasn't repairable. The Powerbook did boot successfully from the Install & Restore DVD, and it did pass all hardware tests on the Apple Hardware Test DVD. Free: 2 Wemo Mini Smart Plugs (Near El Camino & Hollenbeck) Gifted Two Wemo Mini Smart Plugs, model F7C063. These are brand new and unused. Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Voice for hands-free voice control. Unfortunately there are no HomeKit Setup Code stickers on these devices, so you cannot add them to Apple HomeKit. Belkin/Wemo Support indicated that engineering might provide a firmware update that would let the Wemo iOS app retrieve the HomeKit Setup Code, but this hasn't happened so far.
