Request: Jigsaw Puzzle Mat (Cotham BS6) Expired I've seen a rolled out mat on which you build jigsaws. Somehow it can keep the completed part in place, with a gripping surface. It can be stored safely until the next session. I wonder if anyone has one stowed away and not used. I'd like to try some soothing jigsaws which I used to enjoy. Thanks for looking.

Request: Orchid clear pot and bark (Cotham BS6) Received Any orchid-wise house plant experts out there? I'm trying to bring an abandoned cymbidium back to life. Not looking very hopeful but I won't give it up yet. Have watched videos on YouTube etc using garlic infusion or rice water; and always seem to use clear transparent pot with pine bark. I am a complete novice in this specialised culture, but would appreciate any help to give this plant new life. Thanks in hope.

Free: SilverCrest Coffee Maker (Cotham BS6) Gifted Neat design, cone swivels out to load with ground coffee. Filter papers not necessary as cone has mesh filter. Very nice jug with lid, capacity ten (small) cups. Base plate keeps coffee hot. In clean good condition. The front switch just recently needs firmer click: still works. Maybe minor refurb job for clever person.

Free: Bubble Wrap for Packing (Cotham BS6) Gifted Anyone packing? Roll of medium bubble wrap with many metres of quality cushion protection. Very clean as-new wrap, used briefly for large appliance.

Free: Storage cartons (Cotham BS6) Gifted Pack of Eight cartons. Useful for food or other storage. Clean, with lids, very versatile - can be used for freezing portions. Too good to throw away!

Free: Tray base/kitchen work board (Cotham BS8) Expired This was originally a base for cane-worked tray, but could be adapted by creative crafts person. In excellent clean condition, charming picture in subtle colours.

Free: Bedside cabinet, with hidden Tray (Cotham BS6) Gifted Any Up-cyclers out there? A nicely made wooden bedside cabinet, solid but neat. A sliding tray pulls out and is really useful. Could be renovated beautifully.

Free: Reclining chair (Cotham BS8) Gifted Very comfy and relaxing. Attractive subtle colours, Good quality, well made and sturdy. Could be used with throw or loose cover as tapestry shows some wear in few places - or could be simply renovated in those areas. Certainly still plenty of useful life.

Free: Vintage Bottle Collection (Cotham BS8) Expired These have received so many responses, it will take time to read all. Apologies for delay. "Originally from Pharmacy which closed in Kingsdown many years ago. Have ground glass stoppers and coloured water just for decorative effect, especially when back lit. I'm moving on now, and they need to find another corner. Fair offer policy applies."

Free: Folding spare bed/seat (Cotham BS8) Gifted In excellent condition - really useful little seat which unfolds to give comfy bed for child or adult. Has been rarely used. Simple design but works well, cover is soft and clean. Fair offer policy applies.

Free: Screen 3-panel folding, free-standing (Cotham BS6) Gifted PLEASE SEE LINK FOR FOUR PHOTOS Possibly 30s, theatrical-looking piece. Free standing screen. 3 panels each 66ins high x 21ins wide. (168cm x 53). Hinged in three places. Five sides covered in red design, one looks original in green/beige art deco style. Could be that this green original remains on others under the red. Sturdy wooden frames and good hinges, folds easily. One small damage tear, easy to mend. Possibly a novel draught excluder for winter with cover upcycled? Looking for another useful life.

Free: Free standing Easel-type Blackboard/Whiteboard (Cotham BS6) Gifted Versatile stand has blackboard for chalk, with little clock, and whiteboard on reverse. Could do with a bit of TLC and spruce up, but sound and still has many uses. Perhaps would suit someone who wanted my blackboard recently, which was popular!

Free: B-fix Cooker vintage, as new (Cotham BS6) Gifted Made in Switzerland, this was a classy cooking system using stack steamers. This is in excellent condition and could be used to cook all on one heat source for economy. Might also be a fascinating bit of research into culinary history.

Free: Fisher Price play family camper vintage (Cotham BS6) Gifted Kids pull-along toy. Good vintage condition, lots of bits (furniture etc) and some figures. Provided lots of fun then and would be novelty interest now.

Free: World at War VHS - 8 cassettes (Cotham BS6) Expired Four sets with two videos in each. Excellent, new condition. Part of a larger Readers Digest series. For a war history enthusiast/collector who still has this type of player.

Free: Double bed Headboard (Cotham BS8) Gifted Plain solid wood, would reward some renovation and care - to restore gloss. Or could be painted, or even padded/cushioned. It gives good support for reading!

Request: Packing bubble wrap or similar (Cotham BS6) Expired Need to return computer for repair and has to be well protected; they are requesting layers of bubble wrap or similar padding, to cushion in transit. Also a desktop pc sized box as makers do not offer any help with safety! Not quite the warranty I thought I had! Any packaging help much appreciated.

Free: mattress 4ft sprung slumber (Cotham BS8) Gifted A small double mattress 4ft wide, damask cover in clean, aired condition. Has been on spare bed and little used in recent years; has always had a mattress cover. Still very comfortable, quite firm, in good order with even overall sprung condition. Definitely can give more good nights' sleep. I would also give a mattress cover if anyone would like this.

Free: Vintage 'Gonk'? is homeless (Cotham BS6) Gifted Is this survivor from the 70s a Gonk? I'm fairly sure that was the name. Could be a Friar with the tonsure? Found during clearing of family home and seems wrong to scrap him after he's made it this far. He does need an arm though, unless the amputated one turns up. Maybe there's a keen collector with repair shop skills. I do hope so.

Free: Two armchairs, Mid-century, Cottage-style, one Rocking (Cotham BS6) Gifted Two very comfortable, well made chairs, quality wood. An Ercol-type design. Rocking chair mechanism works smoothly and is relaxing & soothing. Seat cushion depth front to back 66cm. Height 92cm. Arm height 56-58cm. Both are sturdy and in good condition (tapestry covers removable) and could be upcycled to enhance.

Free: Rucksack (Cotham BS6) Gifted Khaki Canvas Rucksack, old and characterful, which has done many miles, but is still strong and useful. Drawstring bag, flap over with real leather straps and loops; sturdy webbing arm straps. Would reward clean up and some TLC

Free: Food storage cartons (Cotham BS6) Gifted Very clean, used once for takeaway on holiday. Deep and shallow sizes. Six here, but I can always find more. Extremely useful, versatile, for batch freezing etc. Strong and durable.

Free: Wallflower seed pods (Cotham BS8) Gifted Lots of lovely colour to come. The seeds will dry easily and produce new plants with many different vivid shades. These were particularly bright and strong wallflowers. Take a selection and try it for yourself. Several Freeglers have taken some to grow: plenty left..

Free: Deep armchair: for upcycling (Cotham BS8) Expired An old friend of an armchair which could have another life offering real comfort with the right renovation. It was definitely a chair to snuggle into, not sit on! Has deep feather filled seat pad and cushions but covering, especially on arms, is worn.
