Free: Bevelled-edged Bathroom Mirror 18" x 12" (45cm x 30cm) (Chilcompton BA3) The mirror is perfect, however, there is a tiny chip on one edge, as seen in 3rd photo. Currently has clear tape over it. Comes with pair of mirror screws (with a chromed screw head). Marks along the edge in the last photo are on the back of the mirror; some of the wall paint got stuck to the back when I removed it from the wall, but it has no effect on the mirror.

Free: Single Car Wing Mirror Extension. (Chilcompton) Gifted This is designed to attach to your existing wing mirror by securing the two "jaws" into your cowl. The glass is perfect, the two "jaws" are almost complete, but one is missing a rubber "foot" (see photo 4). The plastic cowl has a slightly cracked tip and there may have been a rubber strap, to give extra secure holding, which is missing. The last photo is from an ebay sale of a similar mirror, showing how it fits to a wing mirror. The length from the tip of the mirror to the end of the bar is 18 inches (46 cm) and the mirror is 8.5 ins x 5ins (21.5 cm x 13 cm). Collect from Chilcompton Village BA3 4XJ.

Free: Alba Digital Clock/Radio (Chilcompton) Expired Small lightweight plastic Alba Clock/ Radio, model CR121. The red digital clock works perfectly and is bright; I can set the alarm, but, it's far too quiet to hear and no matter which buttons I press it won't increase the volume!! The radio works OK too, on FM, again you have to turn the volume up to the highest. So, as a digital clock and FM radio, it's perfect. It has two backup batteries (2x AAA) which are with it. Free: Nappy Bags & Wipes (Chilcompton) Expired A CLEAR OUT OF NAPPY BAGS AND WIPES. A bag of Fred & Flo (Tesco) wipes, but is quite old and has been opened and resealed. A pack of Tesco “everyday value” nappy bags, blue, size 290mm x 310mm, probably 150. Opened. 30 blue “value” nappy bags size 150mm wide x 300mm to end of handles. A pack of approx. 200 “value” salmon colour nappy bags almost identical size as the blue ones. Brand New Unopened x50 “sanitary disposal bags” by Sainsburys, size 170mm wide x 260mm (including handles). The bag says “scented and coloured”, but I can’t see the colour inside the sealed pack. Please collect from BA3 4XJ, Chilcompton.

Free: Wooden Step Ladders (Chilcompton) Gifted Very old and wobbly tall wooden step ladders, which have woodworm (treated), are quite flexible when open and have had many repairs!! They are probably best now used for a nice artistic display in my opinion; perhaps flowers, they certainly have plenty of "patina" and character. They were last used by me only 2 weeks ago to trim the very high hedge at the front, but wobbling about on the top, I've decided "no more" and now purchased some new aluminium ones with a safety rail. Even Teddy won't go up them. There are 6 steps plus the top. The height floor-to-top is 1.77mtrs (5'10"). The depth at the floor when open is 1.06mtrs (3'6"). The width of the ladders across the tread side is 32cm (1'1"). The wood is quite dark, so I'm not sure what its made of, but I did wonder if it's mahogany, or just very old pine. Free: assorted cutlery plus the tray (Chilcompton) Gifted 74 items of assorted stainless steel cutlery, and the cream-coloured plastic tray: x7 soup spoons, x7 tea spoons, 14 tablespoons, 24 forks and 22 knives. The tray is 40cm x 40cm x 5cm high. Check it will fit in your drawer (it's too wide for mine). Please collect from BA3 4XJ

Free: Vintage Oak Table Lamp (needs work) (Chilcompton BA3) Expired This charming turned oak table lamp is just 11 inches (28cm) high as it stands. It's probably from the 40's or 50's. It has a hole in the base which would have housed a switch, but that's been replaced with the bayonet holder which has a switch. It will need rewiring with an earth wire though and a new 13a plug. It will need a little cleaning and wax polish too. There is plaster set into the base for weight. Free to Collect from BA3 4XJ

Free: HEAT PROOF KITCHEN GLASS PLATE. "L.P. Record" style! 12 ins (Chilcompton) Expired I have a heatproof glass plate designed to look like an old L.P. record, but it stands on four plastic feet and is heatproof. It has a couple of areas of "blemish". Fun item. The surface is textured, I think it's a non-slip surface. It's exactly 12 inches diameter, the same as an old L.P. ! Collect from Chilcompton, BA3 4XJ

Free: HP PRINTER/COPIER/SCANNER not fully working. See below (Chilcompton BA3) Expired This is an HP Deskjet 2630 (connected via wi-fi) complete with the mains lead and two well-used ink cartridges inside. The issue is that the A4 paper sheet always needs a push to get it going, so the paper feed system must be broken or in need of a good cleaning. I've now replaced it with a new HP printer. The device will scan and photocopy, but if you photocopy the same paper feed issue will arise. The inks I used were via the HP Instant Ink service, but this machine should work with any HP cartridges bought online. I had it connected entirely via wi-fi to my computer and the internet; it just needs mains to work. There is a socket on the back for cable connection but it's not a USB type, photo is attached. Dimensions are 42cm wide x 33cm front to back x 17cm high, the paper feeder adds 12cm. FREE to collect from my home, BA3 4XJ.

Free: CD-roms "Family Tree" plus "Cool Edit/Pro" (Chilcompton BA3) Expired FAMILY TREE MAKERS and COOL EDIT / PRO version 2 (Multitrack recording studio for your PC). NB: THESE ARE CD-ROMs and are designed to use with a PC using Windows 98, ME, or Windows XP. Your laptop or device will need a cd/dvd player to play them. The family tree makers were free giveaways from Sunday newspapers and both date from 2004 The Cool Edit/Pro is an audio multitrack programme to enable a multitrack to work on your device. It was mine and it is a copy of an original CD-rom. I have no CD player to check any of these on. I can see from the gold sticker on the Cool Edit CD my old address, which dates back to 2000, when I was a professional recordist. You can currently download the up-to-date version of the Cool Edit Pro, it is still used today as a multitrack studio, but you'll have to pay for the download. It was always a very well-designed programme and is expensive. If you have any questions please contact me.
