Free: Bookcase (New Marston OX3) Gifted Bookcase, 180cm tall, 60cm wide. I think it came from Argos originally. Perfectly serviceable. Som shelves slightly bowed from carrying heavy books (as the photo shows). We have replaced it with a slightly sturdier IKEA one.

Free: Two tins of paint (New Marston OX3) Gifted Dulux Jasmine White silk finish emulsion, 2.5l, unopened. Ronseal blackboard paint. 250ml. Nearly full. From clearing our garage. Several years old but both appear to be sealed and usable.

Free: Roofing felt (New Marston OX3) Gifted Three rolls of roofing felt, left over from having the flat roof on our extension replaced. We were told that it is guaranteed to last 25 years by the builder who bought it for the job. Would certainly cover quite a large shed roof or similar.

Free: Large sheet of foam padding (New Marston OX3) Gifted This is a 95cm x 172cm rectangle of foam. It came in a sofa bed mattress (sofa pictured), and we have replaced it with memory foam. This is good quality foam and could be cut for storage boxes, seat cushions, etc.

Free: English Quince (New Marston OX3) Gifted We have a tree with far too many ripe quince for us to use ourselves. So the deal is that you come and pick some for yourself. Especially good if you have a tall stepladder: we have an ordinary one, but the best quince always seem to grow at the top of the tree! These are the large, pear-like quince. Good for baking, making jelly, etc. If you make quince jelly and give us some, we would be very pleased indeed (our cooker packed up during the pandemic, and the only one we could find does not get the big jam pan hot enough). They do not keep well (not like apples), hence our generosity.

Free: Captain's (bunk) bed with desk, shelves and futon (New Marston OX3) Gifted Captain's bed (i.e. a bunk bed without a lower bed), with desk, shelves, and a single futon underneath. Ideal for a teenager in a small bedroom, and has done that job for twelve years since we bought it. The futon mattress was replaced about five years ago. The bed mattress was also replaced about five years ago, and has plenty of wear left in it. The mattress is a standard single bed size (c.190 x 90cm). Colours are red and white. The bed frame, futon frame and ladder are solid wood, the shelves and desktop are laminated fibreboard. The desk has worn patches from great computer mouse use, but the whole thing is in very reasonable condition. I would like this to be collected by someone who will give me and its former owner a hand taking it to bits (all the bolts tighten / untighten with an Allen key). That way, you will know how to put it together again :-)

Free: Large wardrobe for re-assembly (New Marston OX3) Gifted Double wardrobe with sliding doors, bought about ten or twelve years ago in Furniture Village, has served our children't bedroom well, and is now being replaced by a fitted wardrobe. I foolishly forgot to take a picture of it before we took it to pieces, so the photo is of the sliding doors to give an idea of its size. It is complete and in good condition, but it needs reassembly (rather like IKEA furniture, it has no glue or nails holding it together and should reassemble easily enough) Smart and solid (chipboard with high-quality veneer), it has a dividing wall in the middle, so is effectively two single wardrobes that can be configured separately -- there are three shelves and two hanging rails. One of the guiders at the bottom of one door needs a slight repair, and one of the attachments for a hanging rail is rather bent (too many heavy clothes on the rail), but it is overall in very good condition. Too big to go in my car's boot, so you will need a small van to collect it.

Free: Three-seat sofa (New Marston OX3) Expired Three-person sofa with washable green loose covers. Complies with fire safety regulations. Our beloved family sofa while the children were growing up. It was re-sprung some years ago, and the cushions have been replaced with high-quality fire retardant foam. The covers are quite worn, but there is plenty of wear in the sofa itself. Dimensions: W1900 D980 H700 approx.
