Old LCD Sony TV (Purley CR8) Gifted 23d - Working fine. Been in the family from new. Only replaced it because we wanted a smart tv. This is an old LCD tv and pretty heavy to move!! It DOES NOT come with the tv stand or the remote unfortunately. But there are buttons on the TV itself. Collection from Purley CR8

JVC hifi with issues (Purley CR8) Gifted 42d - Not sure if it’s of any use to anyone. But i always try before recycling. Only thing I’ve been able to test is the radio. And the sound quality is good. This unit has Barely been touched in the last 10-15 years. So the belt on the cassette deck has probably perished, but it doesn’t end there. The volume control button isn’t fixed anymore and can be pulled off. The glue has gone off it seems. Also two of the small speakers have no plug on the end of the wires, as pictured. Comes with a remote though ha Anyway if you can make use of some of it. Or just the speakers. Please let me know. Collection from Purley CR8

Large empty plastic tub (Purley CR8) Gifted 48d - Screw on lid. Very good for storing garage stuff like cement or screws. Will be chucked into the recycling bin in just over a weeks time if no takers. Collection from Purley CR8

Cool box for car, broken? (Purley CR8) Gifted 51d - Cool box for the car. Comes with a 12v cable. Not entirely sure it works. I plugged it in and it powers up (can feel the fans working) but didn’t notice any change in the internal temperature and didn’t want to sit with my engine on for much more than 5 mins wasting energy. I’m sure it still works fine as an actual cool Box though regardless of whether it’s actually internally cooling or not. Hence why I’m listing it on here. Maybe it just needs to be plugged in for longer, in which case even better for the person who wants it. Collection from Purley CR8

Solid wood offcuts or spares (CR8) Withdrawn 78d - Hello all. I’m looking for some medium to large sized offcuts of solid wood. For a DIY project. If you have any old pieces laying around. Pine, oak, beech etc. the older the better. Please let me know. Or an old table which is broken or needs a new life. I could definitely use the table top and give it a new life. Nothing chipboard please. I’ve got plenty of that. Save it from the bin and let me rehome and repurpose it ☺️
