Free: POLISH Christian Books 🇵🇱 (Mount Waverley) Listing on behalf of a family member. Two POLISH text hardcover Christian books. They were gifted to my father a number of years ago but due to his prolific book collecting habit, he actually never got around to reading these two. Too many books to read in a lifetime it seems! 😆 As such I cannot comment on their contents, but I trust that the titles serve as their own description. My father tells me that the publisher listed in the first page of each book is a prominent Catholic publishing house in Poland. Free: VINTAGE Christian Books 📚 (Mount Waverley) Gifted Listing on behalf of a family member. A set of five lovely small Christian devotionals printed in the 60s (or thereabouts), and another slightly larger red coloured Christian book. Not sure how dated the content is. Perhaps they may appeal to somebody who likes vintage books for DISPLAY and also appreciates the Christian faith. Free: Cowhide Rug for Upcycling 🐄 (Mount Waverley) Expired Once upon a time this sandy coloured cowhide was absolutely gorgeous. Especially the subtle stripes across the back. 😍 It has served as the rug in the entrance hall of my parents’ house for a few decades. Sadly, it has seen better days and it is time to replace it. As is clear in the photos, the half furthest from the front door is incredibly worn away. A lot of the hair is actually missing and the bare skin/leather is showing through. But the side closest to the front door is in much better condition. If you are handy with a pair of scissors and a heavy duty sewing machine, I imagine one could make a fun throw cushion out of the better sections. It has been vacuumed regularly over the decades, and will be vacuumed freshly before collection. 👍 *** Cowhide is very approximately 160 cm x 180 cm From a smoke free and pet free home. Free: Women’s Armitron Waterproof Watch ⏰ (Mount Waverley) Gifted PLEASE READ 😊🙏 I am giving away this silver WOMEN’s Armitron waterproof sports watch. It was purchased a few years ago and has only been worn a few times. It is in EXCELLENT condition. 😁👌 A couple of days ago I picked it up while it was still working, and the battery went flat that very day. Currently Mister Mint is charging $32 to replace the battery the standard way, and $73 to replace the battery in a way that would retain the watch’s waterproof abilities. (The gasket requires pressure testing or something like that.) I bought this watch for roughly $40 on Amazon, so I have decided to simply buy a new watch instead. If anyone feels skilled enough to change the battery themselves, they will save a lot of money. Free: Large A1 ART FOLDER - Good Cond. 🎨 (Mount Waverley) Gifted I am giving away my old LARGE A1 art folder. It is in good used condition. No water damage or weird smells. It has ONE HANDLE in the middle of the front, and is intended to be carried UNDER ONE ARM whilst holding onto this same handle. It has been designed in such a way that there is NO HANDLE on the top edge, nor is there any shoulder strap. Free: Rotating Window Cleaning Brush (Mount Waverley) Gifted Please Read 🙏😊 This fantastic rotating window and car cleaning brush was purchased by my parents a few decades ago. It attaches to an ordinary garden hose which powers the rotating brush. Thanks to a nifty little detergent compartment, it also dispenses soapy water onto the window or other surface that you are cleaning. 💦 The bristles are soft and flexible and we have found them to not scratch our windows. 👍 The handle is adjustable in length, and as far as we can tell there are no missing parts. 😁 Original instructions included. 🤓 Please note that a hose adapter is required to connect a bare garden hose to this handle. We just used one that my dad has, presumably from Bunnings. My elderly mother took this for a test run this week and whilst it still works great, she now finds it too heavy for her arms. The final section of the handle with the brush on it weighs 1 kg. If you’re young and have a bit of strength in your arms, this is an absolutely fantastic gadget to have around the house. 😁💪 From a smoke free and pet free home. They are giving this highchair away for FREE as their grandchildren have now outgrown it. It was only ever used at the grandparents house once a fortnight. Free: Medium Sized Tosca Suitcase 🧳 (Mount Waverley) Gifted Please read description…😊 On offer is one medium sized Tosca suitcase. This suitcase is generally in good used condition, although there are a few signs of wear. There is a small white stain on one of the front pockets, a small tear in the fabric covering the internal metal frame inside one corner, and one of the foot stoppers has broken off one of its screws holding it to the main body of the suitcase (the other half of the foot stopper is still held very securely in place with another screw). Please refer to the photos as they form part of the description. This suitcase was purchased many years ago but after a handful of short overseas trips has been sitting in storage. It is clean, and has no weird smells. 😁👍 It has two zippered front pockets, one large main compartment with two straps to hold your items in place, a fully functional extendable and retractable pulling handle (to retract the handle just push down firmly), and two rolling wheels both of which work well. 👌 Dimensions: 19cm x 46cm x 64cm From a smoke free and pet free home. Free: Small Fish Tank 🐟 (Mount Waverley) Gifted PLEASE read description. 🙏 We are giving away this small fish tank which brought us many hours of joy in years gone by. We would love to find a new home for it with a budding young fish keeping enthusiast. 😊 🐟🐠 It has been in storage for several years so I can’t attest to whether any of the tools and accessories still work, but there are no visible chips, cracks or scratches on the glass, and the fish tank was in PERFECT condition when it was packed away. 👌 The fish tank comes with a glass lid, and measures 14 cm x 29.5 cm x 20 cm. Included is a bag of gravel, an under gravel water filter, an air pump of sorts, a magnetic fish tank cleaning brush, and other random fish keeping supplies. Several of these items are still in their original packaging, however I believe most have been used. This would make a great present for a young person beginning their fish keeping adventures, or even a terrarium for creepy crawlies brought in from the garden. PLEASE NOTE that the glass lid has small gaps on the side for air circulation which could allow small critters to escape. A different sort of lid with a mesh cover would be need to be created for this purpose. Free: Stainless Steel Drink Bottle (Mount Waverley) Gifted I am helping my mum downsize her kitchen and we have come across a few items we would like to offer up. In this case a stainless steel drink bottle from popular Australian brand Snowgum, approximately 600 or 700 ml. 😊 In GOOD condition - just a small amount of wear on the plastic thread as to be expected. No dents and has never leaked thanks to the fantastic silicone seal on the lid. 👍 Choosing to part with it simply as my mum has acquired a new double walled and insulated drink bottle to use instead. On offer here is a set of 6 silicone frozen dessert moulds. 🍨🌈 I purchased these from Amazon a few years ago and made certain to ensure that I chose sets which were FDA certified as food grade. No fillers used and completely BPA free. These have literally only been used once for icy poles based on coconut milk and are in AS NEW condition. 😁 The coconut milk didn’t quite work out for us. Going by the excellent reviews on Amazon, I suspect they will work much better if based on fruit juice or water. Unfortunately this wasn’t an activity we had time to revisit, and hope that these moulds find a home where they can be really enjoyed. 🍦🍨😋 From a smoke free and pet free home, and from a gluten-free kitchen. Free: RACO 1.5L Deep Red Electric Kettle (Mount Waverley) Gifted I am giving away my 1.5 L RACO deep red electric cordless kettle as I have chosen to update the accessories in my kitchen. It is in good working condition and the manual is included. 😊👌 The entire interior is made of foodgrade stainless steel, except the lid and the limescale filter which are made of foodgrade plastic instead (as you would find in most kettles on the market today). I have had this kettle for a number of years and it shows some signs of wear commensurate with its age. It has been thoroughly cleaned, but I avoid using harsh chemicals cleaners so some mineral deposit staining has remained underneath the spout and on the actual internal limescale filter itself. I have no doubt that this would come up much better if somebody wanted to use CLR on it. 👍 There are a few small chips in the deep red enamel underneath the spout of the kettle as depicted in the photographs. It’s not the quietest kettle in the world - nor the loudest, and I have found the 1.5L capacity super handy for smaller families/single people. There is a tiny rattle now and again as a small screw in the baseplate has been loose for a while. I have never done anything about it and it has never interfered with the function of the kettle. 😊 Would suit a person setting up home for the first time, or as a second kettle for a workshop or studio. 🏡☕️ From a smoke free and pet free home. Free: New Zealand Rock Lilies 🌿 (Mount Waverley) Gifted New Zealand Rock Lily: Arthropodium Cirratum 🌿 We are installing a raised planter against our fence in the middle of our New Zealand Rock Lily bed. As such, we will be digging out roughly 1.8 m of this plant. This will be happening today (Thursday, 12th January) and tomorrow (Friday, 13th January). The plants should be ready for collection (bare rooted) by roughly 4 pm on Friday, 13th January. Free to anyone who would like an instant garden bed. Great for edging or along a fence. 😁 The New Zealand Rock Lily is a great plant which flowers with delicate white blooms on stalks each spring. Lovely green strappy foliage all year. Very easy to propagate via division. On our property it appears to prefer a partially shaded area, although it can tolerate full sun. There are some cracks on the spine of the audio cassette covers, but the tapes themselves have never been listened, so they should be in excellent condition. Free: Inflatable Exercise Ball / Fit Ball (Mount Waverley) Gifted Full sized inflatable exercise ball, which was in PERFECT CONDITION when it was deflated and put into storage a couple of years ago. Translucent green with no stains. I have no reason to believe that it has any punctures. Most likely 65 cm in diameter (standard size) when inflated.
