Free: Windows 10 Desktop Computer PC i5 (Walton on the Hill L4) Withdrawn Windows 10 (not activated but still works) 300GB hard drive 8GB memory i5-650 @3.2ghz CPU In working condition but with a couple of oddities. Windows will shutdown but the PC doesn't switch off automatically. You just have to hold the power switch in until it goes off, or you can switch it off at the plug. One of the memory slots is faulty, so only one additional memory card can be added (not necessary anyway). The pc beeps at startup but then works normally. The SD card reader has been disconnected as the slots are full of fluff. You will need an adapter to connect to WiFi. Names of requests will be put into the hat and drawn at random in a few days. 06/2025

As such it has no I/O plate on the back, so you would have to keep it away from little hands or paws ! The front USB ports are not connected, but I have added extra on the back. The front USB will work if you buy a connection wire for the inside, but it isn't really necessary. You will need an adapter to connect to WiFi. Free: HP Computer Tower Windows 10 (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted This PC is available for anyone who needs a very basic computer for office type tasks and a bit of internet surfing. Windows 10 (not activated but will work anyway) Quad core CPU 5gb ram 80gb hard drive This PC is an ex server and is therefore quite heavy. It has a loud fan noise when it starts up, but this doesn't last very long. You have to be patient when the computer starts, windows does a few checks which takes a couple of minutes. I was gifted this pc and also some other cables etc this week. If you need a keyboard, mouse, power lead, or VGA cable I can supply these too. Thanks for looking.

Request: HP Ink Cartridges no.300 (can be used) (Walton on the Hill L4) Withdrawn Hi, I have been given an HP Envy 120 printer and wonder if anyone has any cartridges for it. I am missing the colour cartridge, and the printer doesn't print with only one cartridge in place, it doesn't even have to have any ink in it, although that would be a bonus. So colour or black cartridges would be appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Free: Computer 2007 iMac Linux Mint installed (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted Old Apple iMac converted for use with Linux Mint. This computer ceased to function with Apple software as it could no longer update. With Linux installed it now functions as a great machine for office tasks and homework etc. It has 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive, and 2.4Ghz dual core CPU. This would probably work better with an SSD installed, but I haven't tried this as these machines are tricky to take apart, and trying to put them back together without getting dust on the inside of the screen is a pain ! Linux does work differently to Windows but for basic tasks and internet you should be able to find your way around if you are not familiar with the system. You will need an EU to UK mains adapter as it has an EU plug, or if you are skilled enough you can connect a UK plug. The WiFi doesn't work so you will need a WiFi adapter, or plug it in by ethernet cable. You will also need a USB mouse and keyboard, not Apple specific. Please let me know why you need it, if you are familiar with Linux, and if you have some experience with it.

Free: Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop i5 (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted Due to the high number of applications I have ended this earlier than planned. Thank you for your interest. A Freegler has been randomly selected and the item has now been promised. Lenovo ThinkPad laptop in very good condition. You will have to purchase an adapter for it. Windows 10 installed but not activated, works fine anyway. There will be a lot of requests for this so please give me a good reason why you should be chosen. Free: Acer Aspire Revo R3600 Desktop Computer (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted Good condition with charger, no other leads or equipment supplied. Comes with Linux Zorin installed, was originally Windows Vista but this machine is too slow for that. Should be ok for general office tasks, some internet, and basic games. You will have to try it out and research how to work it if not familiar with Linux. This is very much like Windows so not much to learn initially. It has USB, ethernet, HDMI and an SD card reader. Only usb have been tested. It does have WiFi but you may need to connect a WiFi adapter as it is temperamental.

Free: Acer Aspire One Netbook (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted In working condition, with charger. This has Windows 7 Starter installed. It might be useful to somebody for simple tasks such as writing text or playing solitaire type games. It doesn't have a large memory so the internet can be viewed but may be slow. You can't watch you tube videos, it just freezes. The memory can be upgraded if you fancy taking it apart. The battery doesn't charge any more. Apart from the speed this computer is in very good condition.

Free: Custom Desktop Computer i5-2400s (Walton on the Hill L4) Gifted This pc will be ok for general office tasks and browsing the internet, you can probably play some low level games on it too. It has an activated version of Windows 10 installed. It would also benefit from a memory stick upgrade, but again is working ok now. Please note this is a computer built in an old heavy case. Some of the front panel ports are not connected to the motherboard and do not work. If you have the old flash cards you can test them. The power button is a bit temperamental but functional. I will be selecting from a list of applicants on Saturday, no collection until then.
