Old Apple iMac converted for use with Linux Mint.
This computer ceased to function with Apple software as it could no longer update. With Linux installed it now functions as a great machine for office tasks and homework etc.
It has 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive, and 2.4Ghz dual core CPU. This would probably work better with an SSD installed, but I haven't tried this as these machines are tricky to take apart, and trying to put them back together without getting dust on the inside of the screen is a pain !
Linux does work differently to Windows but for basic tasks and internet you should be able to find your way around if you are not familiar with the system.
You will need an EU to UK mains adapter as it has an EU plug, or if you are skilled enough you can connect a UK plug.
The WiFi doesn't work so you will need a WiFi adapter, or plug it in by ethernet cable.
You will also need a USB mouse and keyboard, not Apple specific.
Please let me know why you need it, if you are familiar with Linux, and if you have some experience with it.
