I've had these for ever – since my kids were young enough to have toys with batteries. So I would get rechargeables, and juice them up when they ran out of power.
The batteries themselves are long since dead, and for all I know these chargers may be too. But if you have any rechargeable batteries, maybe you could check out these things?
One holds two AA batteries, the other 4. They both plug into a wall socket.
