Vintage Record & Cassette player (Bromsgrove B61)
Fortune cassette and record player, for spares or repairs. It requires auxiliary left and right speakers, which plug in to the back (not incuded) but you can test/listen to it through headphones too. I have managed to get the FM radio to work (it recieves Heart FM anyway!) but the wheels don’t turn on either cassette player or recorder. The LP table has had a brand new needle, but I think the issue is the turntable speed? Anyway, the whole thing needs a good service or some tinkering to get it back to fully working. Both hardback & heavy. Covers are a bit faded/worn/dusty but inside pages are good condition with a bit of foxing/discolouration. Date from 1937 & cover the death of George V, anticipated coronation then resignation of Edward VIII & the actual coronation of George VI. Lots of interesting pics & info on the Royal Family including childhood photos of Queen Elizabeth II. No car-booters or resellers thanks. Just having a clear out.
