Windows 7/8/10 Laptops As a hobby, for many years, I have been refurbishing old Windows laptops by replacing the Windows operating system with the Linux Mint operating system. I then offer the refurbished computers either to Freecycle or Freegle bidders, or in some cases to other people who are known to be going through a hard time. As part of this process, I always ensure that all personal data is removed before reissuing the laptop. My stock of old computers is now very low, so I would be grateful for any old Windows computers that you would like to donate for recycling to a good cause at no charge.
