The appropriate length is determined by standing with your elbow by your side and fore-arm horizontal. Then measure from the top of your hand to the floor. expandable six seat pine table with 6 chairs (one not in photo). Its a very solid table but has suffered a bit from being in our furnace of a conservatory for a number of years, and needs a bit of TLC. Several joints need reglueing, the upholstery is past its best, and a sand down and refinish would not go amiss. A bit of a project but a worthy end result. The legs unbolt from the table top for transport.
