For many years, I've used this upside-down basket to support my book stand – so I can read while I eat (because I live alone). But now it's starting to fall apart, and I'd like to replace it ... hoping somebody here can suggest something?! My ideal would be a plain wooden box, with a flat top, about 6-8" high, and roughly a foot across. Such a box should be nice enough for my dining table (or at least not too wretchedly scruffy). I might possibly find something decorative at a fancy home-goods store ... but it would likely be expensive! Any suggestions (or boxes) gratefully received. Thanks, A.
