Free: Folding Chairs and Rack (Marholm) We (a village hall) have 50+ folding chairs with a wheeled rack. We are buying new chairs and need the space. They are quite old but most are in good condition. I will wait at least a week to see if someone will take them all, so please don't ask if they are still available, just be patient. After that I will contact those who want a few only. We will later get rid of the plastic chairs.

Request: Plastic bags, plastic packaging sheets, plastic carrier bags (Kettering) Has anyone got any of the following to gift, please? 1) Plastic bags or plastic sheets from newly delivered mattresses, sofas, and indeed any plastic wrappings or covers from items that you have newly bought 2) Plastic charity bags of the kind that collection agencies put through the door for doorstep collections, e.g. Air Ambulance, Clothes Aid, etc etc 3) Plastic shopping bags from Supermarkets, e.g. Iceland, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, etc 4) CLEAR plastic bags from newly purchased electricals and other items 5) Clean plastic wrappers from Bread bought at the supermarket - for packing smaller items 6) Clean soft plastic wrappers from Cauliflower, Bananas, Apples and other fruit bought at the supermarket Instead of sending all these plastic bags to landfill, where they will take millennia to decompose completely, all the while emitting methane and other harmful substances which our great-grand-children will be inhaling, please do consider saving these items for us and giving them to us periodically, so we can put them to very good use and save the planet at the same time! We are always in need of the above in order to pack donated items before sending them on to our partner charities. We take the simple precaution of packing everything in plastic first, in case boxes get wet in transit. Our charity website is here. Please email me on peteranderson1958@gmail.com if you can help. As we are perennially short of volunteer drivers, delivery would be much appreciated. Cheers. Pete
Request: Sky remotes, in working condition (Kettering) Dear all, We have 2 elderly clients in the community (in 2 different residences) in dire need of Sky remote control devices. Both can only afford Sky because their adult children are paying the subscription fees for them. Despite our clients repeatedly contacting Sky and asking them to send replacement remotes as the old remotes aren't working, Sky has failed to do so. If any 2 people here have working Sky remotes that they no longer need, our clients would be very grateful to receive them. Our charity website is here. Please email me on peteranderson1958@gmail.com if you can help. As we are perennially short of volunteer drivers, delivery would be much appreciated. Cheers. Pete
Free: Wood posts and planks (Hampton Vale, Peterborough) Hiya, I’ve recently taken down my fence as had a new fence Put up the 6 foot posts are still good from the ground up so if anybody’s building a shorter 4 foot or 5 foot fence, I have five posts available along with a lot of the wood that was taken down still attached in sections to some of the Cant boards but have been cut down for me to be able to move them around. I have kept about half the fence that I’ve taken down to put around plants and make front facias around pots. The pictures include the posts and the pieces of wooden boards that I’m giving away I would prefer they all go in one lot. The final picture is an example of what I’m using some of these for if anybody’s interested they going around the planter These can also be used for things like making a pond if you need some wooden post or a nice wooden surround around the pond or other bits in the garden Please let me know which day you can collect and what time preferably before 2 pm this Thursday and Friday would be best for me but happy to sort that out between us
