Yellow Flag Iris. Uk native. Grows to about 1m height. Grows in damp ground and will cope with waterlogging over winter. I have lots of these.

Purple loosestrife. Uk native. An established rootball that has just started it's spring growth. The flowers are tall purple spires, reaching 1.5 to 1.8m height. Needs ground that is damp, even in summer. Will cope with waterlogged soil in winter.
