Free: Hand grinder for coffee beans (Henleaze Ward BS9) I used it for about a year but it doesn't really grind fine enough for my stove-top coffee pot. I found it difficult to adjust how fine a setting it was on. Would probably be ok for a cafetiere (pour over). Bought it on Gloucester Rd for about £20. Washed, clean, ready to collect. I've got a different hand grinder now. Please tell me your collection plans when you reply. Collect from Kellaway/Horfield Common area.

Request: Anytime unwanted dog/cat food (Keynsham and Bristol Areas) Hi I have a very hungry Fox who visits my garden every night so if anyone has any out of date Sell by date food that they dont know what to do with i have 1 very needy Fox that would love it. I am a struggling oap and hate to see him so hungry and I have now used all my neighbours dog food that she didn't like plus some I bought cheaply but it's getting colder and he looks skinny and I am trying to fatten him up before it gets really. I leave my garden swing awning open at night for him to shelter in but he only looks in and then runs off but with encouragement he may stay to keep warm. So any treats would be great thanks.Roz.

Free: 3 nice tins/caddies (Stoke Gifford BS34) Colourful Union Jack round tin, pretty red embossed M&S spiced tea caddy, and Leonidas chocolate tin with retro shop scenes. All empty - spiced tea caddy is still quite strongly scented inside, so probably best just for spiced tea, but Christmas is coming so it’s nearly spiced tea season! Otherwise handy for keeping bits and bobs in. May split but would prefer these to go together if possible. Could be useful for Christmas gifting?

Free: bread machine with minor defects (Hillfields BS16) This is a Morphy Richards FastBake bread machine. We've listed it as 'minor defects', because it has some flaws but is still usable. The short version is that it definitely isn't as good as a brand-new machine but also definitely better than no bread machine at all! The main problem is that the seal around the paddle is loose/missing, so dough is able to drip down into the mechanism. We have been able to continue using it like this for several years by putting the flour and other dry ingredients in first, to minimise leaking, and cleaning out the inside semi-regularly. We also avoid using it on timer mode. We also occasionally find that some dry flour remains in the corners of the loaf - but we can avoid this happening either by using a little extra water, or by using a spoon in the early stages of the bread cycle to help the machine stir into the corners. The final, much more minor issue is that one patch of the bread tin is scratched, which means it isn't properly non-stick anymore, so you have to bash the tin a bit to get the bread out. So overall, it's far from perfect but still usable if you are OK with these work-arounds. Can supply a copy of the manual with it. The basic bread cycle takes 3 hours and uses about 0.39kWh total. When listing options for pickup times, please give at least one option that isn't short notice.
