Request:
A1 flipchart stand (Digbeth B5)
We are Birmingham Friends of the Earth and we run a busy community building in Digbeth, hosting all sorts of community and activist groups for the city. One of our flipchart stands is broken and we would like to replace it, preferably with a secondhand one. We'd be really grateful if anyone has a spare one they can donate. We can potentially collect - by bike trailer!

Request:
old or new sweet or biscuit tins (Alcester Lanes End B14)
I make crunchy popcorn for gifts and send them to friends and relatives in the post. Have had some smashed glass jar incidents recently and thinking about using tins instead, all shapes and sizes welcome. I need ones that haven't had the lids bashed about too much (as air tight as poss) and not heavily rusted (a bit of spotting is okay). Prefer to collect a few tins in one go rather than lone tins as I cycle. If you live local and are eager to get rid, feel free to drop off at B146bd at your convenience. Thanks Freeglers!

garden plants (Handsworth B21)
While tidying the garden I found the following plants which should go to a good home - these are rooted seedlings/saplings from the parent plant, or cuttings which can be very easily rooted in water. These are almost guaranteed to 'take', given very little tlc, and include: - White scented flowers: Jasmine (rootes, with long shoots) - Yellow flowers : St John's Wort (hypericum) - Blue flowers : Periwinkle, Parisian violets, Vinca - Pink flowers : Pink geranium - Ground cover : Wild strawberries - Ferns : shuttlecock, grow very tall - Fence cover : Ivy - Trees/saplings: Cherry, lilac (mauve and white, scented), Holly Most of those are already dug out and in water, but I might need a bit of help to dig out a few such as cherry saplings and lilac. Would suit a new garden as could all be taken in one go - ideal! Would prefer a non-rainy day! If successful, please bring list and suitable packing (eg bags for life, newspaper)
