340 mm overall diameter. Single AA battery to run the clock. Makes appropriate bird sound on the hour - this uses a separate pair of AA batteries, which can be omitted if you don't want the sounds. I _think_ the bird sounds are muted in the dark anyway (there's a light sensor just above the tawny owl), but I couldn't swear to it.
