fondue set (northeast ann arbor)
includes black plates, fondue pot, sticks to spear with, and cans of sterno fuel which may or may not still work. This has been in a box for a number of years. The only thing not included are the small bowls for sauces, although there is a spinning rack with places for several sauce bowls -- but I don't have the bowls. Porch pickup.

Piano (Holly/spinet) (Grove Rd and Harris)
Holly spinet piano (made by Grinnell Detroit). This piano is in good condition; tuned January 2025. We've owned it about 25 years; it plays well. Our four grown children all did their piano lessons on it. We are parting with it as we've decided that it takes up too much space in our smaller home. You will need to move it yourself and provide people for lifting, as my wife and I are not able to do that. You could also find a piano moving company to move it for you.

Free:
Bookmarks (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Wide variety of bookmarks, only part of them shown here. Also have some arguably-vintage ones from various bookstores, including the local beloved but defunct Borders. Different sizes, thicknesses, conventional plastic-coated or truly recyclable/compostable. Take as many or few as you like, or I can put together an assortment based on your stated preferences. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Green plastic capo (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Bright-green plastic capo with black synthetic “rubber” cushioning and metal hinge. It’s adjustable with a pretty wide range of motion, but I haven’t been able to get it to work quite right with my guitar. Maybe someone else will have better luck! From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Natural seed pods (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Used these decoratively and for sensory enjoyment. Can be used as rattles, for nature education, and in any compostable craft project. Seeds inside may also still be viable. I believe these are from a native species of honey-locust tree, so no need to worry about spreading invasive species. The seeds inside tend to last even longer than the outer pods, look like adzuki beans (smallish and brown), and can also be used for eco-friendly crafts or decoration. No worries if no one wants these (you can probably even collect your own), but figured to offer before mulching them! If you notice a tiny bit of fuzz in the photo, it’s just from them being close to milkweed fluff. From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.

Free:
Compostable produce baskets (Ann Arbor Northwest Side)
Paper-pulp vented containers, great for holding even fragile produce like berries or tomatoes - also for crafts, drawer organizers, holding plants/seedlings with tight-packed soil, etc. As the photo shows, even the different sizes stack nicely. Some have slight staining. If in the future any gets too damaged to use, it can be torn up for mulch, or composted in backyard or city bin. Take as many as you like (including all). From a home with fragrance-free/nontoxic practices, freely available to anyone.
