240 Litre Black Dustbin (Spondon DE21)
We recently had a shed fire which our dustbins were close to and they all melted. The council have replaced the recycle bins for bins of the same size. We had to pay for a new black bin, not a problem it didn’t cost a lot but it is only a 180 litre bin we did have a 240 litre dustbin and this new one is too small for our needs. My wife is disabled and we have community nurses come to changing dressings 2 times a week and each time they leave a bag of waste that would fill half or more of a carrier bag. We also change the dressings ourselves once or twice between the nurse visits. That over 2 weeks fills about 1/2 or more of this new smaller black bin. Having asked for a larger bin we are told we can’t have one but if the council agree we might be allowed a second black bin. We live in a small bungalow, the bins we already have take up so much space, we need a bigger black bin not another one to add to those we already have. So, My wife and I thank you for reading, does anyone have a 240 Litre black dustbin in good condition to to replace our smaller one?
