The condition is very good it's something you can put in your passage or even in the front room when I first bought it I had to build it myself so I have done the best I can the drawers do work and it's very sturdy I do feel something you can varnish if you did want to tone the color down it's quite a versatile piece of furniture I hope it will bless someone's home there is a side table that goes with it I will try to get a picture for you as soon as I can so both of them are going together
