Used Hawkshead walking shoes/boots. I estimate they are size 6.5 as they are only slightly too small for me and I am normally size 6.5/7. Given to me by a friend who upgraded, but they didn't quite fit me. Material seems to be suede. They are worn with some signs of wear, but still have some use left in them.

The suggestions on Google are beyond my DIY skills. It has never looked like collapsing, and is fine under my six year old granddaughter, but I do not like to let a full grown adult sit on it.
