Dark grey in colour (very compact so slats, legs and screws sit in the back on the headboard for easy transportation) This has been my sons bed for the last couple of years but he has upgraded to a double nothing wrong with this bed it's in great condition just needs a sponge clean and a hoover around the edges (we do have dogs!) and will be good to go.
