- It still works beautifully. Unfortunately, my kids have scratched the leather (and admittedly we've been bad about properly caring for the leather. See close up pictures). It's super comfortable and the bottom part pops out when you lean back (see second picture). It comes apart into two pieces for transport (the back portion comes out). We do have a dog, though he isn't allowed on furniture.

- This is a great little fan (about 19" diameter, and about an 8" distance from the base to the front). It works, safe and doesn't make your light appear to flicker since the fan is inside of the light. The downside, my daughter lost the remote. I replaced it with one that has WIFI. I'm sure there is replacement or universal remote out there, I just didn't bother to look.
