My 30+ year old scarifier has died. I think I can repair it if I can get a Dead Man’s Switch If your electric lawnmower has recently died I may be able to make its switch fit mine. I would be grateful for the opportunity to try and mend it

A really long telephone extension lead. A whole bunch of leads from telephone to wall socket. 3 telephone socket splitters. At least 8 ADSL filters. Accumulated over the years, gaining more with every house move. (Oh, and if you're a confused young person, once upon a time telephones had to be connected to the wall with a piece of wire and you actually could not take them with you when you went out. And they did not play games, nor take photos. Weird, eh? However did we cope?)
