used hardboard sheets (Nailsea BS21)
8 feet by 4 feet hardboard sheets, useful to protect floors during building or DIY projects. The upper surfaces have marks and stains which testify to their history, but the undersides are clean and sound, which is what counts. There are 8 in total, which is enough to cover an area of around 250 square feet, but have as many or as few as you wish.

Cot with lovely comfy mattress (cover but can be taken off and washed). I believe it's from IKEA. Comes with the other side panel but it's not in the picture as we've had it in cot bed mode. One screw missing at the top but we've never found it a problem. The height of the base can be raised for younger babies. Will throw in the sheets too (including waterproof sheets). Pair of dome-shaped shades 9 inches in diameter. The Bakelite supports have become discoloured from the heat of the incandescent bulbs that would have been used. If you use LED equivalents there should be very little heat, so you could presumably paint the supports.
