I rescued this classic Chicago-built Schwinn from an older gentleman with plans to tune it up, but I'm downsizing and simply don't have the time to give it the attention it deserves. It needs a new home where someone can get it back on the road. The Good: • Solid Bones: It's a classic, heavy-duty steel frame. • Tires: They actually hold air, which is a huge head start for a project bike. • Cables: Everything moves freely—no rusted-shut shifters or frozen brakes. • Visibility: It was repainted a bright yellow by a previous owner. The Project Part: • It has been sitting and needs a good cleaning and a standard tune-up (lube, gear adjustments, etc.) to be 100% road-ready. If interested let me know when you can pick up.
