Springfield MA Union Station Piano (Springfield)
Conover Fairy Grand Piano - Style 66 This piano has been on display at Springfield Union Station since its grand re-opening in January of 2017. The two pieces of provenance seen in the photos will be included. The piano needs retuning, but we were told the wood has become too delicate to retune without some replacement parts. This is a delicate, heavy piano, and will require gentle handling to remove it from Union Station. You will need to provide your own assistance with its removal from the station.

We are downsizing and looking to save this beautiful, genuinely old piece of history from the dumpster. This is a robust, early-to-mid 19th-century mahogany washstand or commode—not a reproduction. Why it’s special: • True Age: Check out the hand-cut dovetail drawer joints and the original plank backing (see photos)—this is pre-Civil War craft. • Character: Features traditional fluted stiles and an ornate "Empire" scalloped backsplash. • Restoration Potential: The structure is sturdy and the brass pulls are lovely. It does show minor vintage wear and some separation on the leg, making it the perfect project for a refinisher or an antique lover. The drawers are solid and the piece is still very functional. 40" Sony Bravia Model KDL-4CV4150 LCD TV. This is slightly thicker than a regular flat-screen, see photos. If I had to guess, I would say it's about 5" thick. All cables are included, but we do not have the remote, which is available on ebay for around $10. It isn't very heavy, and can definitely be carried by one person, it's just wide, obviously. We are on the Brookline/W. Roxbury border of Chestnut Hill, just off of VFW Pkwy, with easy parking and large dollys you can use to move it to your vehicle.
