Opinions on COVID-19 policy (SE of Ann Arbor) 1d - > Freecycle ... asked local moderators to refocus local groups on crisis... > and to only allow items which are essential/basic necessities I disagree with this policy. Clearly people need to take precautions like maintaining social distance and sanitizing gifted items. But one size does not fit all, and it is not appropriate for moderators to mandate what can be given away! Items which may seem non-essential can play a significant role in allowing people to maintain their physical and emotional well-being during these difficult times. Picking up an item from someone's porch is probably lower risk than buying it from a store which requires waiting in line and interacting with a cashier. I hope others will speak up about this too, and that moderators will not try to restrict which items are allowed.

30" propane gas stove (Near US 131 + D ave.) 3d - Almond color. electronic ignition. Stove top works well. Oven use is not recommended because mice have removed the insulation so the outside gets hot. Delivery to your drive may be arranged. I WILL NOT drag it into your house.

NWFH - New Shower Head / Used (NWFH - 14 & Drake) 4d - I replaced a couple of shower fixtures and have left over parts. Includes a NIB adjustable shower head and a previously installed (used) shower head with a 4 foot hose. You will need to use some vinegar and a toothbrush on the older one to remove the calcium deposits before installing it. Pickup in Northwest Farmington Hills, most evenings. Wheelchair ramp (Bristol) 5d - Free very heavy duty wooden wheelchair ramp portion. You will need posts to anchor it with and a way to move it. It is very heavy, but will last many years.
