The two black ones are battery powered; small one is a Seiko, larger one is a Sabine (“Quartz Metronome”). The other two are self-powered: wind them up with their key and off they go, emitting a nice loud tick-tock. The wind-ups are both Wittner, a German brand. All functional. (I realize everyone probably uses an app for this purpose nowadays, but hoping maybe there are a few musicians who like mechanical tools…?)

Full disclosure: I rescued this little gem when someone was throwing it out because it just seemed so …nifty! I cleaned it all up and it’s quite a handsome little unit.
