Offer: 2 x upholstered Kitchen/study/dining chairs - Spence - TWO identical very sturdy upholstered chairs in good condition, as shown in the picture of one of them below. The upholstery is in good condition, but there are some stains (just food, nothing nasty), which hopefully could be removed with enough "elbow grease". We were using them at our kitchen table, but they could be used as a bedroom chair, or in a study, library, etc. Prefer them to go together, but if there are two people wanting only one each, then that would be Ok too. As always, reliable pickup preferred. Jim Spence

Offer: (Edited by Mod) OFFER_Household items_Kambah - Hi all, We have a few more items to offer, that may be of use to someone. 1 x small bench top oven, electric. In need of repair. Only the top element is working, inside the oven and the left hotplate did heat up but I don't think it reached temperature. So it's good for toasting, only the top surface. We received this from another freecycler, many years ago to help us set up a granny flat for our son. He no longer needs it. 1 x metal tool box, used condition. There are some drill holes in the base, from where it was mounted to an old ute. I don't have a key for the lock, perhaps someone can repair it. We were going to use it to store fire wood for our fire pit but no longer need it. 2 x timber racks, different heights. I used these for displaying pre-loved clothing on hangers, in a pop up shop. I had intended to turn them into a dressing screen. Perhaps another project for someone else ? Photos are attached, drop us a line, if interested. We are at home most days, in Kambah. Regards, Jeff and Temena

Request: white plastic bags, Northside - Hi all! I'm looking for plastic bags for an art installation about recycling. They will be recycled afterwards. I'm looking for plastic bags that are whitish (the ones you get for fruit and veggies are too small and translucent), and have minimum writing on them - at least one side should be free from any text or images - kind of like the one I've posted below. Different sizes are wonderful - the bigger the better. Any help would be absolutely amazing - you'll be helping a creative project that is all about recycling which will be on at Belconnen Arts Centre later in the year. Can pick up from anywhere around Belconnen or Northside. Thank you!

Offer: More various - Kaleen - Hi all, The cleanup continues. Thanks for all those that responded to my last email. There are a few items left from the last batch: 1. Solar powered calculator - unused - large buttons 2. Ceramic Santa biscuit jar - used once if at all - in good chip free condition 3. Three Phillips 12V 35W halogen globes in original boxes - new 4. Brumbies cap from the 2016 season - new, not worn but a little dusty 5. Mixture of new and used DVD and CD recordable media. Some are single use CD-R/DVD-R (new), other items are recordable and some of the recordable disks have been used once and erased. 6. Picture of a ballet dancer made from coloured tiles that click into a plastic frame - I can't remember the name of the manufacturer. Picture size is about 230 x 330mm. On offer in this batch are: 7. Samsung 22" LCD television with remote. Picture seems to lack contrast but it may be due to the display technology used a decade ago compared to the contrast that the new LCD televisions have.. Has HDMI and VGA inputs as well as a digital TV tuner. Note this is not a smart television. There's a small piece of the case missing on the top - see photos (link below) 8. Epson printer consumables - all new. T6710 maintenance box and 676XL cartridges in black, cyan and yellow. 9. 1.5 litre jug attachment for a hand blender. Not sure of the make or model of the blender itself. Used once or twice only. 10. Two unfashionable curtain pelmet boxes - 2.7 and 3.0 metres long. The mounting brackets may be useful even if there is no interest in the boxes - these are 50 mm x 75 and about 5 mm thick so would be strong enough to support small shelves. The pelmet boxes will need a good clean as the tops are very dusty. 11. Blue (?) ANU promotional rubber duck - unused. 12. Old school pencil sharpener - sharpener blades seem to maul rather than sharpen the pencil so probably not actually that useful for actually sharpening pencils - maybe useful as a paperweight as it is solid metal apart from the handle winder. 13. Dripper hose - three lengths about 12 - 15 metres in total - used once and has some fittings. Has been in storage for about a decade under the house. 14. Ionisation type fire alarm. Used but in clean condition. I've installed a new battery and it passes the self-test 15. Large stand magnifier used to read maps originally. Some scratches on the top of the lens and one of the stand arms has lost a small piece. This does not affect use. Comes with a cardboard box 16. Slim three drawer pop-up file for A4 paper - unused. 17. Retractable corded USB mouse - small. Used a few times, recently tested and works fine. 18. "Fifty things to do once in a lifetime" card set. New and card stack is still in the plastic. Not sure if this is a game or just a collection of cards. 19. Four rubber/vinyl door stops in fashionable brown. 50 - 75 mm in height. Used. 20. Foldable shopping/carry bag - folds down into a zipped pouch 12 cm x 16 cm. When open will hold about 16 litres (32 cm x 32 cm x 16 cm approximately). Good idea apart from the care and time needed to fold the bag and zip up into the pouch - it's taken me a minute or two the couple of times I tried this. Unused and washed today to remove some dust it had collected. If there is a lot of interest in any of the items in the next couple of days I'll do a random draw on those and ensure items are shared fairly. Some photos of the items are here: Items can be left out for collection during the week.
