I have two of these little boxes, bought from Dollarama – back when they had a whole line of them. Now I want to get a slightly larger version – but they're no longer to be found! This is probably a long shot; but I'm looking for one that's at least seven inches long/wide. (I've tried googling, and these things can be found on Amazon ... but only the small versions.)

Various sizes of these things ... which I have tried to use in place of clear plastic bags, but which have one large drawback: you can't see what's wrapped up in them! You don't know if the mysterious bundle in your fridge is the remains of a ham, or half a tuna sandwich. (In fact, I haven't actually used these for either purpose – they're mostly virgin.) Also I don't like the smug exhortations to virtue they're printed with.

I dropped this small, cheap salad spinner on the floor today, and the flimsy basket fell apart. Before I throw away the object, can anyone use it just for storage? The lid (with its now useless turning mechanism) fits quite tightly, and the bowl would hold a fairly large amount of ... whatever.
