Yet another Thanksgiving has come and gone, and this hasn't been used. I think it's time to acknowledge that my days of hosting big dinners are now over! This platter is 18" long (knife and fork for scale), and is mostly in good shape. There are a couple of tiny chips in the rim, and a bigger one underneath ... but it doesn't show.

I'm having a massive wardrobe cull, and – rather than just donating bags of stuff to the nearest charity shop – I thought to maybe have some fun with the cast-offs! On Sunday Oct. 18, from 2-4 pm, ladies (of a certain age and size) can feel free to show up chez moi, and haul away anything that takes your fancy. Up for grabs are a variety of dresses, skirts, sweaters, T-shirts, blouses, pants, jackets, etc., mostly "smart casual" in style; and mostly in sizes M to L (I'm now a 2XL, I'm sorry to say, hence the divesting). If you're interested in this, please let me know and I'll send you the deets (address, time, etc.).
